The GTX turbos seem to produce a lot of power at about 18 psi, but is there a large turbo lag associated with this? How does the 67mm version of the GTX turbos compare to the GT600R turbos specifically when it comes to lag? Are the GTX turbos usable for quick response, street driving with spool-up at low rpm, or are they really just meant for track racing with most top end and lots of lag? I'm referring to the lag time for the GTX turbos to reach 17-18 psi "street boost" that is advertised "right out of the box", not the 30-40 psi "racing boost" for the top end on the track, which requires actuator adjustment. I'm just interested in this lag compared relative to more "street-type" turbos like the GT600R, which produce roughly the same power at the top end as the GTX turbos do with low boost on the low side.
